Hey Guys I need some advice! Good tenant looks to have moved someone into the left side of the duplex we live in without telling us. We see the Car there everyday and night and the new person brought me last months rent. On top of that we are now smelling Cigarette smoke through the walls since they ”moved in.” What should I do?

@Jacob R. Crosby depending on what your state law is, I'd give them 24 (or 48 or whatever your state requires) hours notice that you will be inspecting and then get in there asap. If you smell smoke when you enter and your lease says no smoking on the premises I would go ahead and start the eviction process, a tenant that lets that happen once will let it happen again. You might also confront them about the person they moved in, but the easier issue to get them out on would be smoking.
