Property Taxes Indiana

Happy New Years Everyone,

Currently, the homes I own are in Marion County IN and Hamilton County IN.  The property taxes are doubled when you are a landlord or do not live in the home.  If I were to make the home a land transfer contract, does this still apply?  Will they be continued to be doubled, or can we have that changed.
