Seems Ive seen this topic on here before, never thought it would happen to me. Tenants left, place not trashed, but lots of "stuff' left behind. They frequently went to storage auctions and then sold stuff. Cleaning up we found a pretty gold box..with cremated remains inside. I contacted tenant and they said they have no idea who it might be...whats the right way to deal with this?

Well it’s not likely your going to find out who the person was so if it was me I’d take it to a lake stream or body of water and dump it out of respect for the dead I wouldn’t just toss it in the trash . Nobody’s remains should be tossed in the garbage . If your a Christian like me I’d probably observe a moment of silence and/or say a short prayer to myself for the event
