Renting to NFL Pro Athlete
Besides some pro athletes turning investor, I haven't seen much discussion on the topic. I recently rented out my place to a NFL player (rookie) in Atlanta and he had to break the lease after recently being traded after only a couple of months. He covered the 60-day notice with one month's pay and deposit (which I hate) and also scheduled a cleaner and carpet guy after moving out so no biggie there.
A realtor/neighbor did mention that the NFL has some sort of program to cover the terms of the lease for its entirety (12-months).
Does this make sense or is this just hearsay? Has anyone ever rented to a pro athlete that got trade mid lease agreement?
Thanks

The worst is when you show up to collect the rent and instead of pay you they take a knee
