What a nightmare trying to find a contractor to do a small shower. All contractors want $10,000 and I’m like what the heck. I screened and screened and searched up and down and right and left till I found a unlicensed felon who wants to do a shower remodel for $1500 plus materials separate. He did a great job with the neighbors and I expect the same. I did a lot of waiting around and chasing around and 100s of phone calls till I found my unlicensed dude. Lifesaver. Contractors charging $10,000 for a small shower redo is a crime and should be punishable. Tons and tons of contractors who want to screw the public. So all your investor talk and financial greatnesses will be ruined when u need repairs and “screwed by the contractor “. Good luck y’all.

@Mona C. I see you have even went further down on your price from the $1500 unlicensed felon to now requesting recommendations for $1200... You give contractors a bad rap... people just like you.. You're gonna find somebody for $1200 then they're gonna screw it all up and then you're gonna be crying because you had to hire a professional and pay $8000 I hope whoever you hire screws it up so that you can get pulled back into reality.. If you would have written your initial post in a completely different tone instead of an attacking tone you would not be getting responses like this.
