Hey BP Community,

My wife and I just acquired our first property to house hack. We are currently remodeling it. It will be 3 units. We will be managing it ourselves.

We wanted to seek advice and recommendations on the following list:

1. What bank do y’all recommend on using for business? Why? To set a checking and savings.

2. Lease agreements (what websites do y’all use for state specific forms)? What additional forms to do you include?

- smoking, pet, illegal criminal activity, etc. Forms.

Do you recommend seeing a lawyer for this? Why or why not? Any recommendation on a real estate lawyer in denver?

3. For taxes, what do you do? Do you do quick books and/ or do you recommend something else? Should I sit do with a CPA to help set this up? Any recommendations in Denver?

Thanks,

Ed
