Our tenant from hell appeared to have moved out yesterday....and then she peed and pooped in the hall of the building. Now, she’s back in the apartment. We have a security cam in the entryway. I can see through the lock hole that there is trash all over the floor. She has removed all furniture. I don’t know what she could be doing in there aside from actively destroying the place. Do we have any options? The police knocked but (surprise!) she doesn’t answer. Help. I am scared she’s going to poke holes in pipes or something! (Also, we can file a forcible entry detainer as of Monday...she’s had 7 days to vacate. But Monday is a long tIme from now AND we will be out of town on our first family vacation in forever. 😢)
