Gas lease and pipe lines
I'm looking at buying a portion of an old dairy farm. I need the barn for Hay storage. The sellers (gas company) want to retain the mineral rights and the universal pipeland easement. My concern is can the gas company change the pipeline path and knock down the barn after I buy the land? Has anyone had any experience with buying land from gas companies?
