Interior door lock recommendation between owner & tenant space

We have a 1 bedroom apartment connected to our house via a long hallway.  We are going to be closing off the hallway to open up the apartment to renters.  Question...what type of locks should be supplied on both sides of the door connecting the main house to the tenant house?  Keyed locks? Slide locks?  Keyed on one side, slide on another?  Thanks for your help!
