Lease Broken over Domestic Abuse; Boyfriend won't leave
We had three tenants sign to a lease for one of our units. One month after moving in, the two girls wanted to break the lease because one's boyfriend (the third tenant) had become abusive. They signed all of the proper paperwork, and notified the boyfriend that they had moved out and broken the lease. I spoke with the boyfriend, who said he would willingly meet to sign termination paper, but did not show up for our meeting and has been avoiding all forms of communication with us. How should we proceed?
