NY Direct Deposit from Property Manager

Hi everyone!

My PM has informed me that NY does not allow a B2B ACH deposit so he would have to bank wire our rent checks every month, which incurs a cost. Obviously this is only if I want to go down the direct deposit option. My other option would be for him to mail me the checks.

But in this day and age, I'm curious as to if there would be other methods for my property manager to get me my rent electronically in a safe manner. 

Did anyone else ever have to deal with this?
