Avoid Tenants to run Airbnb in Rental Property - Terrifying story

Hello - I just heard a terrifying story about "tenants illegally turned a three bedroom apartment into 10 bedroom via Airbnb even though this is not allowed and listed on the contract.  See below story link.  I wonder what else landlords can do to protect their rights other than clearly listed on the contract.  Thank you.

Without question, the owner should not lose control of their property. If they they didn't approve of sublet, then the tenant should be evicted.

On the flip side, landlords and tenants should be joint venturing. There is no need to fear Airbnb.

It seems odd to publicize these occasions when the platform is misused. I always question the motive.
