Stress of relocating

Hello all, I would just like to give you my story and hopefully if any of you have ever had any experience with this you can lend some advice. I am currently enrolled in a technical school in California studying and preparing to work with Amtrak. I plan to make this my career while I save up and slowly build an investment portfolio to which someday I can hopefully do real estate full time.

My fear at the moment is relocating to a new city without knowing anyone and nowhere to live once my schooling is finished. going back home (WY) is not an option for me because unfortunately they do not have a passenger rail service. I will most likely be relocating to Chicago, Florida, or the northern east coast. it all depends on what jobs are available once I get close to graduation.

Right now I would just like to reach out and get to know some landlords in these areas who are close to any Amtrak stations

I will keep this post updated for I have just a few months left or so until I graduate.

Many thanks

Andrew McIntyre
