Install Shower Caddy?

Would installing a tension rod shower caddy add any value for a rental? Personally, I'd like it. But my wife says people won't care and that some people prefer the ones you hang on the shower head.

I recommend not adding those kinds of accessories in rentals. Keep it bare bones but clean and presentable. Like your wife says, they don't care and those kinds of items will not add value to your cash flow. Plus if you install it, and it gets broken, its another item for your tenant to complain about if it breaks and you have to replace it or fix it.
