Do you (or your pm co) do interior inspections of your rentals?

Quick question. We have been using Century 21 property management for about 4 years on a property 4 hours from here. This year they changed managers and they did an interior inspection. He says records show they did the inspections since 2013, but that the last manager never mentioned it. I haven't required this before, and when they did this they took lots of pictures of the inside of the house. Really I felt it was rather intrusive, and sent the PM an email asking them to refrain from that in the future unless there seems to be a problem. Am I wrong in this?

Who does inspections inside their properties?

Who doesn't do them, and has had issues because of this?
