Water damage Landlord not fixing correctly

I rent in FL and had water damage done due to a major leak in the bathroom. Sink, vanity, and floor in bathroom, also leaked into master bedroom through wall and into hall way outside the bathroom, (hallway and masterbedroom are carpeted) The landlord told us that his insurance company will not come out and survey the damage and they won't cover repairs because he didnt have water damage insurance.
Is water damage standard on insurance for a pipe leak in FL?

Is the isurance comapany required to come out and make a report before denying a claim?

What can I do as a tenant to make sure what repair need to be completed if insurance company won't come and atleast make a report as to what repairs need to be made?

When th carpets were pulled up to try to dry everything it revealed mold is this dangerous? ( i have to young children)

I had my own inspection done of damage and report of all repairs if my landlord does not repair properly can I break my lease?

What would I have to do to break my lease if repairs aren't made?
