Why are investors not using PMs?
Hello all!
I am new to this site and have been getting active on many threads and I see a common theme in the rental area - investors are managing their own property. I am wondering why so many investors are not using a property manager and leveraging their time to do other things? As a former PM for the past 16 years, we professionally take the headache out of owning rental property which leaves you as simply an owner/investor. I find value in that cost whereas maybe many investors don't?
How do you consider rentals passive income when you are actively engaged in making the income?
Just looking for some of your thoughts here...

In most cases it is because owners can't find good property managers. Nobody will look after your property as well as you will. - At least in theory.
There are very good property managers. The bad ones scare away a lot of investors.
