Epoxy paint w speckles for concrete basement floor

hello all,  hoping someone can answer a few paint questions for me:

1. basement floor is being cleaned, sealed and painted with epoxy paint and the contractor asked me if I wanted the glitter or speckles in it...had no idea what he was talking about and have been looking online for paint color choices in the gray epoxy family.  anyone recommend a gray color and what type/color/size specks would be good?  one block glass window with dryer vented out so not much sunlight

HD has Rustolem: Silver Gray and Dark Gray

SW: https://www.google.com/search?q=pictures+of+baseme...

any ideas? no clue here which colors to pick

2. interior walls - was looking in this forum for neutral grays for a smaller city row home with pine flooring on 1st floor and upstairs hall; gray carpeting in bedrooms.

I was going to choose the BP seemingly popular : Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray with white semigloss trim throughout the house.  however, Houzz decorators are beginning to say 2016 offwhites are the thing.

what do you think about SW Alabaster wall w white trim?  Also afraid gray walls and carpeting will be dreary.

thank you for your ideas/thoughts on these 2 issues!
