Garbage Disposals?

How important are garbage disposals for fully renovated apartments with fully renovated kitchens, granite counters, porcelain tile floors, dishwashers, pendant lights? I'm just wondering do prospective tenants even take into consideration garbage disposals?

If you do decide to install one, don't buy the cheapest one.  That's a recipe for trouble.  Most of the cheap ones, like the InSinkErator Badgers, have a plastic grind chamber which will crack and leak.  I always get models with a 3/4 hp motor and a stainless steel grind chamber.  It's worth the extra $50-$60.
