Living among tenants

My wife and I are looking to buy a multi unit property with an FHA. We are concerned with living among our tenants and them having unfettered access to our front door. Is it unheard of to use a property management company to provide anonymity? Looking to hear from other investors who have experience with the same situation.

Have rents mailed to a PO Box, pretend to be "the hired manager" and you can reply to everything "sorry, that's what the boss told me to {say,do}".
