The trend is for those who would traditionally be in the "first time home buyers" chapter of life are increasingly opting to rent. This is something that has been talked about extensively in RE world and is very apparent here in my locale. So, how big will the trend get and how long it will last ? ... not for me to guess. Personally, I will ride the wave as a holder and if the trend fades back to ownership preference, I am already stocked with inventory ;)
