Making Money Anticipating Your Resident's Needs

There's a trend a'brewing.

Google is starting to predict what you'll ask. Amazon suggests things for you to buy. Even Walgreens is tracking your purchases and giving you coupons based on predictions.

Should landlords jump on this bandwagon to increase our bottom lines and customer satisfaction?

I've been playing with this idea. This week I:

- Adjusted the seat height of the bicycle I rent to my short term renter. He was delighted.

- Offer a resident that I know has cash flow struggles a pad day rent plan. He was delighted.

Both moves increase my income through more rent collected or more enthusiastic testimonials. Both ideas required no money and just 5 minutes of time.

How about you? What can/will you do to anticipate your customer's needs.
