Pet Insurance--coverage available???

A lot of my applicants want to know If I accept pets, and the answer is always NO!

I have had tens of thousands of dollars of damage caused by 'good dogs' and "wonderful, loving" cats-some so severe that it was almost better off to demolish the property.

Even if I accepted a substantial ( and by substantial, I mean $10k or more) pet deposit  I still run the risk of exceeding that if enough damage is done.  And, of course, everyone's pet is always the exception, and besides, who has that much cash lying around to deposit anyway?

My question is--are there any company's that will write a pet damage policy to cover the cost of damages done by their pets?  If there are, I can sure bet that the premiums will be sky-high, in that there will most definitely be claims made when they vacate.
