I attended a great all day seminar today that was sponsored by the local Real Estate Boards, the Attorney General, and local PD's. I will, in future posts pass on some of the tips and info gained, but I really LIKED this one little quote, with regard to Rental Properties:

Investing in Rentals is really just Betting on your skills as a manager of people.

The point being, if you do not feel you CAN manage people, investing here may not be right for you. If you are effective, you will have "good" tenants; if you are not effective, you will end up with numerous problems, and are not likely to succeed.

Food for thought.
