Can't get ahold of qualified, prospective tenant?

Hi! I did a quick search in the forums and found no answer, so i'll ask it here! I showed an empty unit over the weekend and had 3 applicants, 2 of which were well qualified.

I called the more qualified one last night around 630pm and left a message that she was approved (i also texted and emailed her haha) and to call me back to set up a time to go over the lease, move-in checklist, and receive her keys.

It's 1115am the next day... how long am i supposed to wait for her to call me back? i realize it's only been 17 hours, but i have another qualified prospective tenant i could offer the place to so i don't want to wait very long. No one really likes a vacant unit.

Any experience/input?

Thanks!

It could just be that she can't use her phone at work.   When I let someone know they are approved, I stress that I'll need a signed lease, security deposit and first month's rent to hold the property for them, and that I need to hear from them by x time today if they are interested, or I'll be contacting the next applicant.   It puts the burden in their court to get it done versus them being able to feel justified in calling 2-3 days later saying, We'll take it, after you've already rented it to someone else.
