Our military renters obligated to fulfill lease agreement

We have a property in Texas, where our property manager has reached out and said there was a military family that was interested in renting a house that we own. They are requesting a 24 month lease.
I’m having a hard time understanding any benefit it would be to me to do a 24 month lease. I was under the impression before that a military couple does not have to fulfill their lease agreement if they get transferred etc.

Can someone that is familiar with Leasing to military families in Texas speak to this?

@Joe S. You are correct, if they get official transfer papers, you have to allow that to happen. I would maybe do a one year lease, then you can relook at the market rents next year, and how they have been as a tenant in taking care of the property and that rental payments have been on time.
