Somalia Mogadishu landowner at 23

I grew up in England, UK I struggled to find a profitable market and working a 9-5 job, the hassle of living on payslip to payslip had inevitably led me to venture outside the country. So much so that I went back to my roots, Somalia, Mogadishu. Yes a war torn country with over a 30 year history of conflict and war. But as of recent stability and peace has returned but I can-not say whether the future is bright or much darkness is on the horizon. However as many of you know in business the bigger the risk the bigger the reward. I have been investing back home for many years and have bought up many land. Land here is sold as “boos” legit means “position” a boos is land which is 15m by 20m which is 300 square metres. Just at the turn of 2020 a boos 6miles outside of Mogadishu was worth $500 now that same boos goes for $2000. I have bought up to about 100’000 square metres. 60’000 square metres of which is farmland. Which I have recently started investing in. Much of my money goes towards buying land and reselling, revenue is slow but I have accumulated enough land as assets now. So I have begun to invest in the farm. I will explain much of my plan and I can show you what I have accomplished as well as my general idea and goals for next year. I would advise those interested to get in contact as soon as possible as Somalia has recently signed a 10 year agreement with turkey to drill 3 oil blocks around 100km more or less off the coast of Somalia. These assets will be guarded by Turkish navy. Also I am 23 years of age, I deem it necessary that you should know this before hand as I don’t have time to waste.

Sounds like a great opportunity, but unfortunately I just invested all my money helping a Nigerian Prince get himself and his royal inheritance out of his country. Any day now my cut is coming and I can retire. Hey, no risk, no reward!

If you're for real, I wish you the best. It's wonderful to see someone so young take the initiative and the risks to build something for themselves. I'd love to see some pictures of the area.

While there clearly is the possibility to make money in Somalia, given the things like coups, islamic terrorists, political instability, rampant crime, and lack of personal safety, the risks seem to far outweigh the rewards.
