possession of property
I bought a piece of property. The prior owner wanted to rent then never paid. I took him to court and got a possession judgment and money judgment. I have tried to work with this man as he supposidly filed for social security and would pay me when that went threw. That finally happened a year later now he wont pay says he is moving so I told him to pack and get out. Well he left but a bunch of his belongings are there. Since I did not have him throwed out within 56 days after judgement do I have to take him back to court again? How long can he leave that stuff before I can remove it legally. I am in Michigan. So he owes me a money judgment from 9/24/2012 and intrest plus another full year at this point I just want him gone all together. He has also destoyed the place. scrapped the furnace and bathtub pipes are all frozen now water heater is probably junk. It is a big mess. Now his kids are threatening me.

Throw his trash out! Take pictures to document all damage. Go to police and file a report for the damage and the harassment so you have it on record should any additional damage appear to the property. Perhaps they can also offer some additional help. Next time his kids approach you, turn on your cell phone video. Where in Michigan? Seems like you're trying to manage it all on your own.
