Gas Station and Renting Units

Laura Sanchez
Posted

I rent a few condos inside an association, these are located about 100ft-250ft from a gas station. I came across some websites that mention hypothetical health concerns about living near a gas station. I also read gas stations are heavily regulated by EPA and FDEP. I am wondering if I need to disclose these hypothetical health concerns to my tenants. Is there any regulation or law requiring disclosure? They are obviously aware they live next to the gas station and this gas station was approved by the city/zoning. I reached to the board of the association but didn't get much back, however, I/we are now aware of this hypothetical health concerns. I would love to hear your feedback. Thanks!
