Letting a tenant run a business at your rental property?

Karen Wong
Posted

Curious to know:
Would you allow a tenant to operate a business from your rental?

Also:
If you've ever had a tenant run a business from your rental property, what tricks/management strategies worked for you? What didn’t?

@Karen Wong

The type of business really matters. If they have one employee that comes to their unit every day; not really an issue. If they are running a business that ships dozens of packages a day; then you might need to have a talk with them.
