California tenant laws?
hey all, first time poster. I have been a homeowner for years now, however recent events has forced my family to mive to a duplex. Nice place, and were fortunate to find it in short notice.
Lease agreement states no animals. I broke the lease and brought our family retriever of 7 years with us. He is quite, and poses no harm. Neighbors love him. Recently the property manager looked through our back fence from the neighbor's yard (vacant unit), and took pictures of what few piece of stool on the ground. No dog included. The view of the picture is actually from the standing on the fence. Is this legal? I thought there had to be a 24 hr notice, even though i am CLEARLY breaking the lease agreement.
Also, the lease nowhere states i cannot work on my vehicles. I had the hood up on my truck, and they added that into the stipulation. I now have a 3 day notice.
Besided getting rid of my dog, what are my options. Have my rights been violated?
