Question about eviction process in Chicago

I'm currently going through the eviction process for a non-paying tenant. She was finally served the court notice after several failed attempts. She had an attorney representing her during yesterday's hearing, and the case was continued for trial. I'm new to the eviction process in Chicago, so my first thought was TRIAL?! Does anyone know what happens at trial?
