Insurance for Loss of Rent Due to Broken Water Pipe.
Hello,
A water pipe broke and caused flooding. Tenants will be out of apartment for 2-3 weeks. Tenants have put a stop payment on check and said they will prorate for when it is complete.
Will landlord policy insurance typically reimburse us for this?
Thanks!

In my experience loss of revenue (due to a covered event) is a separate coverage/line item on your insurance policy. That is something that would have needed to be included. It is not always part of a policy. You would need to work with your agent on that. Also what @Nathan Gesner said above.
