Do Landlords Need Permission from a Tenant to Walk the Property?

Hi BP,

I'm asking for a client of mine. His landlord reached out to him, asking if he could come over to walk the property's interior.

My client (tenant) isn't thrilled about the owner's request. Does my client have to comply? Are they in a position to refuse the owner's request?

Thanks
