Tips to Manage Bill Pmts &Cashflow
Hi Folks,
We just closed on a duplex which is our 4th and 5th doors. What tools or processes do you use to manage dues dates of all the bills dues?
The rent dates are easy but we have several mortgages, several credit lines, property taxes, and many other bills due at specific times.
Do tools like Avail also manage this component of being a landlord?
TIA,
Lionel

I pay bills as they come in. For mortgage payments, the bank takes those directly out of my bank account. Same with insurance, I have automated monthly payments. Property taxes are once a years (or in one case the bank pays it as it is part of the mortgage payments).
I'm old school and write down the expenses in a notebook and file the bills in a folder for tax time.
