How to find tenants - first time duplex owner

Greg Ebacher
Posted

Hello All,

I am in the process of purchasing a duplex. I have one side full with tenants and I need to fill the other side. It is within walking distance of the University of Hamline (a small liberal arts school). I am wondering how to go about finding tenants? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Hey Greg! I would check out a property manager to find and vet the tenants for you. If you want to self manage, advertising your property on local facebook groups and craigslist is a great starting point. Hope this helps!
