Our own application is the most important part of the screening process for us and we ask that it be fully filled out. We do not invite more than 10% of applicants to complete it as most applicants do not make it that far. We do not show units without that application and some preliminary screening.

Sure we do a background and credit check that is kind of at the end of the process and there are rarely any surprises. We ask the applicant if there are going to be any negatives on those reports and tell us now so we don't waste their money or our time.
