I'd like to hear your experience: Would you rather manage your rental property yourself or hire a property management company?

This is talked about constantly and you'll find half the people on each side of the fence. You'll never get a consensus because there are varied reasons for each decision.

How much time do you have?
Do you enjoy managing rentals and dealing with tenants?
Do you understand the law well enough to stay out of trouble?
What's your time worth?
Can you afford property management?
Do you have good property managers in your area?
Etc.

Talk to others about what they are doing and why. Analyze your own situation to determine what is best for you.
