Lender is making my Refi difficult
I'm in the process of refinancing my owner occupied duplex. I purchased this out of state in Cleveland OH, and moved in one units because I work from home. I reached out to a local lender to refi after living for for about 8 months. I have submitted all the requested documents to the lender, including utility bills and driver's license with my name and address showing I live in this property. Lending is now asking me to get a letter notarized to detail the main reason why I relocated. It appears lender still doubting that I live in this property and is making the refi a hell for me. Your suggestions will be appreciated. I will also appreciate suggestions for lenders willing to refi in the Cleveland, OH area.

This is not surprising to me. Honestly even though its a huge pain I understand the lender wanting to make sure you live in it if the type of financing you are getting is based on living in it. If you have already provided everything else and they want this I would just do it and get it done even though its inconvenient. What's the time value of searching for a new lender and going all through the process again. What else could you accomplish with that time to make more money?
