Student rental: enticer service #5

All,

We added a new "perk" to our student rentals this autumn which has been well received and I thought I might share it with you.

University goes back in here the first week of September (last week) and the City hosts an international Jazz and Blues festival the second week of September (this week). Since classes haven't gotten down to serious business yet, there is a large amount of partying and the accompanying amount of inebriation and poor judgement.

This September we gave all our student tenants a "cab pass" they can use to get home safely from their back-to-school festivities. We have setup an account with one of the local taxi companies and our tenants can call a cab, show their "pass" {or simply tell them a "key phrase" } and they will be taken back to their apartment, complements of us.

We have already had two tenants ask if we would keep it in-place beyond September and, if they were to use it, we would add the cost to their rent the following month ... I think we just may do this.
