Need advice on an Eviction in Indiana
Hello, I have a tricky situation and wanted to get some feedback. I am in contract to buy a property in Indiana. The owner and her siblings were passed down the property from their dad who passed away. Their distant relatives now occupy the property as the father said they could live there before he passed away. They do not pay rent and there is no lease agreement in place. The siblings want them out as they are not doing their fair share. How do we evict them? I would like to avoid using an attorney as it seems it will cost in total $4000-5000 to use them. Thank you and happy investing!

The owner should be hiring an attorney to have them removed before you purchase. If they don't, then you'll be buying the problem and it may get expensive. Extend the contract so the owner has time to clean this up before you close and take possession.
