Sorry I have not searched the forum for this topic as to my computer is foobar'd and needs formatting tonight or tommorow.. But I just moved out to Edmonton Alberta Canada from Ontario,

I am now apprenticing Automotive Mechanic, 16$ and hour first year with insane wages for 4th and 5th year 29.50$ an hour...I have just got an apartment 3 months ago and so far its going well , Im 19 , have an apartment, car, all bills paid early, etc..absoulutly no debt and average 2500-3000 in a high interest savings bank account all the time.. Also have an assorted range of mutal funds..

Anyways am I starting to build credit?, should I get a loan? 1500-2000? more? over the course of 6 months or longer? to show I can pay it back on time? Will I be approved or will i need my mother to co-sign?? I think this is the best way then to get a credit card in a few months?

Thank you

Andrew
