Wealth coach recommendations?

Question

HI everyone. I'm looking for some help finding a wealth coach. My real estate strategies are paying off well, but the taxes are crazy and I'd like to focus my machine a little, with an eye on legacy wealth. I am looking for someone who can listen to my ideas and help me refine my approach for optimum financial gain.

I know what you mean, I've been there. But these decisions are complex, because they need to be considered on multiple levels, not only financially: what non-financial resources do you have, skills, knowledge, what does your market offer, personal preferences etc.. I am not sure how anyone can tell you what you should do, like buy a hotel vs a trailer park vs apartments. That's a decision only you can make.

The best way I have found to answer those questions is to contemplate them during our winter vacation. My head is clear, we are away from the day to day and my wife and I have the headspace to discuss things on a strategic level. We usually go for at least 10 days (a week is too short) and have very little on the agenda, except a some sport and scuba. That leaves time to think and talk.

What you want is a tax advisor, who can help with tax planning and tax strategy. That's a level up from a CPA, but can be the same firm. Good ones are not easy to find, so be prepared to invest some time. It's worth it.

I would have a paid consultation with about 2-3 CPA's / Tax advisors to see what suggestions that they would give to you given your situation.The reason I mention paid instead of a free consultation is because they will more likely be inclined to listen and understand your story and to give you feedback.Best of luck

Thanks Marcus.  I'll start asking around locally for a tax advisor.  I guess I'm looking for more than tax strategy though.  I'd like to find a business coach that can help me work through highest and best use issues.  Flipping and buy and hold are going great in my market.  Also launching my first Airbnb and I'd really like to find someone that can help me add a zero.
