Another Reason Memphis is a Top Destination

Did you see last week's Fortune magazine with the list of the Top 100 companies to work for in America?  Here's the link.

Not surprisingly, Google was #1.

But what might surprise most BP readers is that Memphis has 3 companies on the list.

36 - St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

92 - Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare

99 - FedEx

That doesn't surprise us Memphians.  We know we've got a good thing going on and we are gladly sharing it with the rest of the world!

Aren't you from Houston, TX?  

I'm from Dallas and I went to undergraduate and graduate school in Nashville and then worked for EY  (#29 on the Fortune list) in New York City for a few years.  I live in Memphis by choice. 

Our city has so many great things going for it right now.  @Dan Butler just toured the new Crosstown project earlier this week and said it was amazing.  My folks were in town from Dallas two weeks ago and said the newly revamped Shelby Farms / Hyde Lake was world class even by Texas standards. I'm proud to call Memphis home. And, I'm super glad to be actively investing here!
