Seeking Accounting Agent and Tax Advisor for Short Term Rentals

Albaraa Albasiri
Posted

Hello,

I am currently looking for an experienced accounting agent and tax advisor to assist with my short term rentals and house hacking business. I need someone who can help me set up financial plans, organize my expenses, and manage my finances effectively. My goal is to streamline my financial processes to support the growth of my portfolio and enhance my investment strategies.

If you have expertise in this area and can provide tailored advice, please reach out to discuss further.

Thank you!

There are a lot of real estate CPAs on the forums. I'd recommend looking through the forums, reaching out to a few, and seeing who you connect with.

Short term rentals can be a great investment and paired with the proper tax advice, produce great savings.

If you have a STR that you self-manage, you want to have a discussion with your accountant to see if it can be treated as active as opposed to passive.

If you have a house-hack, you have a property that is both an investment and personal. Therefore, there are unique tax laws that apply to the investment portion and the personal portion.

Best of luck to you in your search.
