Urgent Update: Continuing Issues with RPM Indy Edge in Indianapolis

Hello BiggerPockets Community,

I’m reaching out again to update and reaffirm my previous warnings about a property management company in Indianapolis: Real Property Management Indianapolis Edge (RPM Indy Edge). For those who may not have seen my earlier posts, I strongly advise caution if you are considering using their services.

Key Issues Reiterated:

  • Persistent Poor Communication: My attempts to communicate with RPM Indy Edge, especially with individuals like Angelique Garzone, have continually been met with silence. This includes crucial communication failures affecting both myself and my tenants.
  • Financial Mismanagement and Deception: The company has made questionable claims about retaining a $500 deposit for alleged early contract termination. Moreover, they have consistently failed to transfer the tenant's security deposit as required by law.
  • Misleading Operational Status: Despite their Google Business profile stating "permanently closed" as of 10/29/2024, they are still claiming to operate. This misinformation has led to considerable operational difficulties and suggests a lack of transparency.

BBB Profile Highlight: For those looking into RPM Indy Edge, their Better Business Bureau profile reflects a concerning score that should be reviewed. It underscores many of the operational and ethical challenges I've experienced.

Additional Context: Given the ongoing nature of these problems and the serious impact they have had on my ability to manage my property effectively, I felt compelled to raise this issue once again. I have taken steps to report RPM Indy Edge to various regulatory bodies including the local consumer affairs office and the Indiana Real Estate Commission.

Final Words: I urge anyone in or around Indianapolis to consider other more reliable property management options. If you've had similar experiences or can recommend trustworthy alternatives, please share them here. Your advice could greatly assist others in our community.

Thank you for your attention and for allowing me to share these updates. Let’s help each other stay informed and avoid potential pitfalls in our real estate endeavors.
