Purchasing house in Philadelphia

Brad Owens
Posted

Good afternoon, I am moving to Philly next spring. I am looking at purchasing a house to live in. I am a pilot in the air force, so I qualify for the VA loan and I will be moving after about 3-4 years of living there. Ideally, I would like to purchase a house and then be able to rent it out when I move. I am not sure how competitive the market is in Philly so I am really looking for any info at all.

One of my friends was able to purchase a someone else's VA loan and got a great interest rate on it. If there was an outlet where I could find individuals selling their house who used a VA loan, that would also be great. Thank you
