Is it okay to ask on here if I am seeking any sort of private lender?

yup its a common question.. just be aware that these types of sites are trolled by fake PML who will talk a great game but try to get you to send them money up front and then ghost you.. its and issue in our industry..
rates are pretty much

10 to 15% for private money with 1 to 5 points.. plus closing costs
anyone telling you less than these you would either need to be  a premiere borrower of theirs or its a fake.
