On the heels of Covid and George Floyd, things got really strange in Minnesota. From riots to an eviction records ban that effectively prevented Minnesota landlords from being able to properly screen their tenants, Minnesota was going through a wild time. Luckily the Minnesota Supreme Court has stepped in and issued a ruling that should help get things back on track. During the 101st episode of The Ask James Wise Show, real estate investing expert James Wise is discussing the recent ruling by the Minnesota Supreme Court that has found that the state law that banned landlords and the public from accessing eviction filings was unconstitutional, thus allowing landlords the ability to begin proper tenant screening practices again.
