Hi, I was wondering how an LLC is affected when a manager or managing member is sued & loses. 2 cases, when the manager is a different LLC or when the manager is an individual.
What if the manager that is sued is NOT the person who was the filing party for the 2nd LLC and the membership is 50/50.
Who owns the LLC? What's the difference between a manager and a managing member? In TX, the SOS and many banks look at these 2 titles differently and I quite honestly don't know the difference. I know supposedly there is protection for the members/managing members unless there is fraud or a few other circumstances, but is it a 1 way street?
